It’s Jessie!
I’m a visual communicator with close to 20 years of experience turning ideas into storyboards, illustrations, and animations that actually land. I studied graphic illustration at ACAD and have worked across sectors — including energy, healthcare, education, nonprofit, and tech.
Over the years, I’ve helped map multi-stakeholder strategies, supported public engagement sessions, illustrated training programs, and brought large-scale conversations to life in real time. I’ve collaborated with First Nations communities, worked alongside national organizations like Respect Group and Hockey Canada, and partnered with everyone from creative agencies to contractors. No matter the project, the goal is the same: take complex ideas and translate them into visuals that are clear, grounded, and built to connect.
I come from an artist family and have deep roots in Calgary’s creative community — roots I’ve worked to keep visible and valued, even as automation and AI shift the landscape. I still believe in the power of a sharp pencil and a human hand.
Whether I’m sketching live, mapping out a system, or building a visual from the ground up, I care about how things are made — and who they’re made for. If you’ve got an idea worth sharing, let’s make it count.
