Jessie Mead has been living and breathing visual storytelling for nearly two decades. A graduate of ACAD with a focus in graphic illustration, she’s spent her career sharpening three core skills — storyboarding, animation, and live illustration — all rooted in the same gift: the ability to take a complex idea and translate it into something striking, clear, and deeply human.

Whether she’s mapping out a campaign frame by frame or animating a message to make it move and land, Jessie’s work is grounded in intention and fueled by obsession — the good kind. A serious hobbyist turned professional creative, she throws herself into every craft she takes on, from leatherwork to weightlifting. Her artistic world doesn’t stop at her desk either: her husband is a fellow Calgary artist, her kids can often be found trailing her through gallery openings, and her home is shared with a pair of beloved chihuahuas. A longtime vegetarian and animal lover, Jessie brings the same empathy and intentionality to her life that she brings to her work — observant, values-driven, and always fully in.
